I can't believe the end of school is so near. This year has been challenging to say the least. As the school year comes to an end, it is time for reflection of the good, the bad, and the ugly. I know that I am going to search for new discipline ideas, look through all the great units I purchased on TpT and over 4000 pins that I pinned on Pinterest this year (LOL), and start planning for next year. I have a great collection of teaching resources that I have filed away in my computer that I also need to revisit and organize, possibly by our 6 weeks curriculum (if they don't change it again).
As I started thinking about the end of the school year in terms of a teacher, I also started thinking about a way for my students to reflect on their year. I came up with a memory book where they can record their likes, achievements, and descriptions of their friends, their teachers, and themselves. I felt this would be a great project to end the year with. You can grab one at either my TpT or TN store for only $3.00. It's my featured item at both shops!
Happy Almost Summer!!!
I am eactly going to do what you are in summer, organizing and reflecting:)

Thanks Rebecca. That's so sweet of you. We have this next week, then we are off for Memorial Day and come back the rest to that week. The kids have a half day on Friday June 1st, and we finish checking out for the summer the other half of the day. I really envy you, only 5 days...wow! I am super duper ready for summer!

Lovin' the memory books. I was going to sit down and create one, but then I came across your pre-made goodies :). I am so glad that I found you. Oh . . . and on a side note . . . I totally liked rockin' to the "Move It" song while I was visiting!!!

Kelley,
DeleteThanks for your purchase and thanks for stopping by! I considered buying a memory book too, but then decided to create one myself. I so glad you enjoyed jamming out! I think most of the music I have on my playlist is timeless. It never gets old!
Patti :)
