For those of you who already know me, you know I'm always thinking weeks ahead so my October/ Halloween has been planned forever and I'm already thinking ahead to November/ turkeys. My students have been having some trouble with three digit addition, subtraction, and money. They aren't always getting their numbers lined up neatly, carrying, and/or borrowing accurately. They're also forgetting those pesky dollar signs and decimals.
A fun intervention with extra practice was certainly in order, so I came up with this turkey math craftivity. Just look how cute that little guy is! But, before students can color and assemble the craft, they first have to solve 32 math problems and show their work on the back.
