Bitter Sweet Awards Ceremony

Oh no, my baby is growing up!

My little girl will no longer be at the school that I teach at. She will be going to 6th grade in another school district where we live.

I will miss having her there with me and knowing she is safe and staying out of trouble.

At the awards ceremony she racked up 11 awards (and one the night before). Here she is with her wonderful teacher Mrs. Ermer (whom I absolutely LOVE!).

I think she was in every club at our school. She also got the highest GPA in the 5th grade (97 avg.) and she got commended in every subject on the TAKS Test (100 on Reading and Science). I am so proud of her.

Good luck Kaylee. I know you will do great in Middle School !
