Super Saturday YouTube Educational Video of the Week

This next week in Science, we are beginning our study on weather, more specifically, temperature.  I found this really cute video by Eureka! that discusses Celcius and the boiling and freezing point.  It's a cartoon that I think my kiddos will enjoy.  It relates measuring temperature to the speed of the molecules which is great, because we just talked about the 3 types of matter: solid, liquid, and gas.  Enjoy!

  2. Hi Patti! Thanks for commenting on my blog! My 2nd grade class is studying the 3 forms of matter as well. That "Tumbleweed Tom" project sounds like a great way to teach the children about Texas! I'm now following you, and I'm off to check out the rest of your blog.
